An interview with David McLay Kidd By Torleif Sorenson on 2/4/15
David McLay Kidd is a Scottish-born architect who encountered tremendous success with his design of the first course at Bandon Dunes Resort in southwestern Oregon. His design of the Castle Course at Saint Andrews in Scotland was far less well-received, but he rebounded with easier-to-play and enjoyable layouts at Tetherow in Bend, Oregon and Gamble Sands in Washington State. Now, he has been tapped to design the second course at Sand Valley in Wisconsin. It was an interesting interview — part of "Architects Week" on Golf Channel. Have you seen an interesting golf video?
