JACK NICKLAUS ICE CREAM - NOW AVAILABLE

Nothing in the career of Jack Nicklaus could be called "pint-sized" — except the new Jack Nicklaus Ice Cream.

Believe it or not, Nicklaus has teamed up with the Minnesota-based Schwan Food Company to produce and market seven flavors of ice cream. But the products will only be available at Winn Dixie, Bi-Lo, and Kroger grocery stores in certain markets. Each pint has a suggested retail price of US $1.99.

In the press release on his web site, Nicklaus quoted as "confessing" the following:

"It's no secret that I love ice cream. Needless to say, I have never had so much fun in the research and development of a product. The team at Schwan has a world-class product development center. Together, we have created a variety of flavors—all with real ingredients—for a quality, premium ice cream at a value price."

The product rollout is actually part of a philanthropic effort by Nicklaus and Schwan in support of the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation. Seven flavors are available:

• Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl


• Coffee and Donuts


• Homemade Vanilla


• Salted Caramel Toffee


• Strawberry Lemonade


• Triple Chocolate


• Warm Spiced Butter Pecan

The ice cream will be available at the Honda Classic, this week's PGA Tour stop in Florida.
