Keegan trying conventional putter at Hero By Torleif Sorenson on 12/4/14
Eventually, Keegan Bradley and other professional golfers will have to stop anchoring his putter. On January 1, 2016, the USGA and R&A's ban on anchored putting will take effect.
So, this week at the Hero World Challenge hosted by Tiger Woods, Bradley is giving the conventional putter a serious try: "I'm trying to work my way into it. It feels comfortable, actually."This is not the first time Bradley has attempted to play a tournament with the shorter putter; this last summer he put one into play at the Memorial. It wasn't a disaster; Bradley shot 67-75-70-73 = 285 to finish T-37. During that tournament, Bradley was asked about his transition to the shorter putter: Have you seen an interesting golf story?
