TIGER FALLS OUT OF TOP 100

Q:  What do all of these men have in common?

A:  They rank higher than Tiger Woods in the Official World Golf Ranking.

As of today, Tiger Woods is ranked 104th in the OWGR — the first time since September 29, 1996 — which was one month after he turned professional and one week before Woods won his first PGA Tour event in Las Vegas. Over time, Woods has enjoyed an astounding 683 weeks overall as the world's number-one.

And the fall has been precipitous. Last May, he was ranked number-one in the world. On December 31, Woods was ranked 32nd in the world. But he has played on tour only twice in 2015, missing the cut in Phoenix and then withdrawing in San Diego. Since then, Tiger's stock in trade has plunged; last week, he was ranked 96th.

And nobody, except perhaps Woods himself, knows if he will even tee it up at Augusta National on April 9.

Meanwhile, the world's current number one is Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland — by a considerable distance over Henrik Stenson, Bubba Watson, Jordan Spieth, and Jason Day.

The times, they are a-changin'.
