Roy Kizer GC is one of two golf courses at this location; Jimmy Clay GC is on the north side of the property. It was built over 200 acres of an abandoned wastewater plant and was meant to echo a links-style feel.

Cedar, elm, and oak trees dot the course, along with 35 acres of lakes and 22 acres of wetlands created for resident and migratory waterfowl. Large fairways and five sets of tees were designed to accommodate golfers of all skill levels.

The standard walking rates are $27 on weekdays, $35 on weekends and holidays (carts are $13/person). The course is closed every fourth Monday of the month for maintenance, although holidays and major events are excluded.
