Okay okay , another favorite dog track, but it dose have a couple of peek a boo ocean views and its a kick to hone up on how tough a little course can be.....I still love the course and for a little over 20 bucks for specials and afternoon tee times its still a hidden gem ..............

Rat hole – avoid even if they pay you to play there. Course; conditions overall rating is POOR MINUS, from tee to green. Cart path tunnels are shared with waste management/sewage system. Pace of play is morbidly slow. Facility; rated substandard for even wild life occupancy. This property would add more value to the sounding area if converted to a parking lot. At least then the patrons could smoke outside and not violate CA state law. Every time I drop a duce and flush the toilet I think of Shorecliffs GC.

Facilities are very old but staffed with nice people. Maintenance of course (except greens) is below "par". The rough isn't kept up at all. The course layout is the biggest problem with this course; goes from very easily playable holes to almost impossible.

This is an absolutely horrible course. It would've been worse if I had paid for it. The fairways were terrible, you couldn't find an even lie anywhere, the fairways were too narrow and hard as concrete and the out of bounds area were maybe 5 ft from the fairway. The greens were fast going uphill and slow going downhill. Unless you hit a hard putt your ball would roll to the cup and then break right in front of it. Never will be back here again.

Read some reviews of this course and it's as I pictured; narrow with trouble left and right on every hole. Interesting layout and challenges nearly every shot. I will definitely play it again.
