This public access course is located in Municipality of Oliver Paipoonge, south of Thunder Bay and just 29 miles north of the U.S.-Canadian border at Grand Portage. In fact, it is the western-most course on the Canadian side of Lake Superior's north shore. The course is the host site of PGA Tour Canada's Stall Foundation Open, a tournament started by the four Staal brothers (Eric, Jordan, Marc, and Jared), all of whom are Thunder Bay natives and all of whom play in the National Hockey League.

Canadian architect Thomas McBroom routed this course through thick stands of trees located between the Kaministiquia River and the tranquil Rosslyn Oxbow Wetland. Whitewater's 18-holes stretch from 4,526 to 7,293 yards.

Visitors are welcome; the standard walking rates range from C$63 to C$81 (carts are C$32). Twilight and 9-hole rates are available, as are memberships.
