Played prior to pandemic. Early spring. Course in awful shape. Greens were dirt. Tee boxes were ragweed. Decent layout. Hopefully the spring and early summer bring about better conditions.

8/12/16: Good layout. Bunkers are not consistent with same type sand. Slow play often. Poor range conditions and can't view driver hits that go into a net.

front desk is usually very friendly, pace of play early is slow but after 1 pm pace picks up. Course is in good shape and the greens are fast but true.

Old Hickory is easily one of the best public access courses in the DC area. Great layout, always is great condition, and the rates are very reasonable.
