While the old 27 hole scorecards are still here, Wolf Creek Golf Resort is now 36 holes: The newer Links Course (the first nine is the former "South" nine) and the Old Course (the former "West-East" layout).

Rod Whitman worked over the space more than two decades to take advantage of Alberta's sand dunes in building these Scottish-flavored courses, including pot bunkers framed by wild native grasses.

For players requiring a power cart, this experience was tiring, frustrating and entirely unenjoyable since the distance one had to walk carrying several clubs across difficult terrain was copletely unacceptable.
