One of Melbourne's famous sand belt public courses, Sandringham is located adjacent to Royal Melbourne and was designed by architect Vern Morcom, although some changes were made during the 1990s. This public links course is very popular, particularly in the winter months, when many other courses are unplayable.

Even after a week of rain, fairways and greens all typical of a sandbelt course, excellent condition. To wet out east so ventured into town for a round. What a great public golf course, and all for only $26 a round.
