The course at this very private club was a collaboration between two designers with different golf course architecture philosophies: Jack Nicklaus and Tom Doak. However, their design is so successful and admired that Golf Magazine named Sebonack the "Best New Private Course" for 2007 and ranked it 71st on their list of top 100 courses in the United States. Inbee Park won her third consecutive major here in June of 2013 when she won the 68th U.S. Women's Open Championship. The club is located immediately west of National Golf Links, on the south shore of Great Peconic Bay on Long Island.

Sebonack is a private club; visitors are permitted only as guests of members.
