This parkland-style course is located near the old market town of Pontefract, in the Yorkshire and Humber region. The legendary architect Alister Mackenzie did the original design here, although the course was extended in length in 2008.

Visitors, societies, and corporate groups are welcome on various days at various times, so booking in advance is highly recommended. In-season visitor walking rates are £33/round and £37/day on weekdays, while the weekend rate is £37/round. Reduced rates after 1pm
