One of the nation’s oldest Clubs, Brooklawn was founded on May 1, 1895, just four months after the USGA itself was
organized.

Brooklawn provides a challenge for all levels of play thanks to the design strategy of A. W. Tillinghast, who re-designed the course in 1929. For the Club members, Brooklawn’s sloping greens provide the biggest challenge! “Keep the ball below the hole” is a common recommendation used by all members as the best strategy for approaching the small greens.
