Jeff Gorney designed both the regulation-length course and the par-30 Heritage course that opened here in 1999. A 12-acre practice range is available as well. The Heritage course was designed in part to accommodate beginning and junior golfers, while the main Colonial course plays from 5,151 to 6,859 yards. Among the course's defenses are the prevailing winds from Lake Michigan.

The Colonial course walking rates during peak-season (Memorial weekend through September) are $28 weekdays and $31 weekends. Nine-hole rates, as well as for the Heritage course, are lower. Memberships are available.
