The Yale Golf Course is recognized as one of the finest examples of early American golf course design and usually ranks among the top 100 courses in all of the United States. Large deeply bunkered greens and narrow rolling fairways are the core of Yale's penalizing character, which was designed by the renowned architect Charles Blair Macdonald. Several important hole reproductions are here, including a Cape, Biarritz, a Road, an Alps, a Redan, and an Eden.

The course is open only to Yale students, employees, alumni, and guests of members.
