This 45-hole, 390-acre facility is located a short distance outside the Orillia CBD. Two regulation-length 18-hole courses (Meadow Nest and Timber Ridge) are augmented by the 9-hole, par-3 Hawk's Island layout.

A teaching academy offers clinics and lessons, while the golf shop includes rental equipment. The large practice range includes a putting green and practice bunker. The fully-licensed clubhouse includes a grill, lounge, informal dining room, three reception rooms, locker rooms, and club storage.

The standard rates with a cart are C$60 on the Meadow Nest course and C$46 on the Timber Ridge course. On the Hawk's Island 9, the standard rate is C$12.50. Several categories of seasonal memberships, sliding twilight rates, and several stay-and-play.

I wish I lived closer to Hawk Ridge. Two good quality Championship-length courses at very reasonable rates. Meadow Nest is a solid layout; front 9 is longer, back 9 is tighter. Both courses are maintained well. Greens are good sizes and roll well.
