Scottish architect Graeme J. Webster designed this seaside, 9-hole course, which opened in 2009. It is located adjacent to (and surrounds) the historic 1863 Herdla Kirke ("Herdla Church"), which was damaged by the Nazis during World War II, but was subsequently restored to its original glory.

The course is operated by Herdla Golf AS; Herdla Golfklubb is resident at this course.
