Casper's municipal golf course opened in 1929 with the original layout (now the Highlands and Park nines) designed by Robert Muir Graves with sand greens as putting surfaces. In 1953, the greens were changed to bent grass along with some re-routing of the holes. Keith Foster's Links 9 debuted in 1997, making Casper Golf Club Wyoming's only 27-hole facility.

The standard 18-hole green fee is $26; carts are $28. Juniors 13-18 and children up to 12 receive various discounts, while season passes are also available.
