This course was designed by Nick Faldo, who describes this course as dramatic, but with an honest appearance and no hidden tricks. "With so many courses in the region, that’s no mean feat," he said.

Faldo preserved much of the natural terrain, including cacti, wild herbs, and desert scrub bunkers of crushed limestone. replace Berkshire’s sandy tracts in a golf course that revels in the classic principles of strategic play. The course opened in 2008 and is located just off the EN529 near Silves.

Stunningly beautiful but very tough. A few too many blind holes and can be unfair in places. Overall excellent but preferred the neighbouring O'Connor as it didn't beat you up as much!

A wonderful golf course in superb condition and the views are special, also played the O'Connor same condition and same clubhouse preference for the Faldo although it is more challenging

Great course. Got to be consistent off tee's otherwise very difficult. Some memorable holes. Would love to play again

A touch of class. The Faldo course is an absolute gem and will surely start to hold the portugal masters very soon.

Excellent course with some challenging holes, particularly on the back 9 - highly recommended if you are in the Algarve. Great practice area.
