The Royal is a great course and I would love to play it again.
Played Jan 2015 in ok weather on the chilly side with light rain during last few holes. Greens were slower than other courses, but very much to my liking as thee was a chance of one putting wherever you were on the green. On the Quinta courses it usually turned to to be a three put if above the hole.

Fabulous course, really enjoyed it. Accessories are on the expensive side. Would always go back though

Great course, expensive but worth it once in a while. Like most Portuguese courses its too expensive.

superb unbelieveable scenery £5M+ villas surround the course along with the beach next to a couple of greens. challenging but 100% recomended
