One of the loveliest courses i have played. Friendly, warm and challenging.

The value could not be knocked. I paid only £10 and included coffee and bacon sandwich on arrival. A colleague of mine highered a buggy for only £12.
I put the maintenance down, as I thought the the greens could have been cut slightly shorter and esspesially around the cup as this seamed to be longer again.
Pace of play wasn`t too bad, being held up by a three ball, but I knew the group and one player in particular always plays slow.
Hospitality was excellent, with a pleasant greeting from the clubs stewards.
Scenery was spectacluar. There canot be many places where you can look one way and see the moors, turn around and you are looking out towards the English channel.
Overall it is a nice place to play great golf, with a lovely signature hole at the 18th. If only I didn`t have 3 off the Tee, then I would have done it in 3...oh well thats golf !!!
