Trump National Golf Course is perched high above the Pacific Ocean, with memorable views available across the course. The course began life as the Pete Dye-designed Ocean Trails Golf Course, although environmental issues and a landslide complicated matters. Donald Trump purchased the course in November of 2002 and set upon a $250 million restoration / reconstruction project, overseen by the prominent architect Tom Fazio. The renovated course opened on January 20, 2006.

The 2015 PGA Grand Slam of Golf will be played here October 19-21 — the first time that event has been played on the mainland since 1993.

Public play is permitted here; the daily fee (with cart) is $275, although sliding midday and afternoon rates are available, along with sunset rates that begin at 6:00 p.m.
