played in the last week in July, the course was in stunning condition. The staff gave a warm welcome & were very accommodating, the course is a real credit to the greens staff and is well worth the green fee.

Thought the first 3or 4 holes were all a bit cramped together but it is a nice course and not fully open when i played

You receive a warm welcome from the club professional, catering staff and steward. The course is parkland and in the grounds of Lord Newtons estate. The couse is laid out in two loops of nine and has some picturesque holes. The most challenging is undoubtedly the 13th which is a long par 4 into the prevailing wind. Aim your tee shot to the left of the fairway or your second shot will be blocked out. Close to the motorway network (off J23 M6) it is well worth a visit.
