A gem. played the course with friends from a very long running society. Very wet underfoot following days of rain, but just allowed an attacking approach in pleasant sunny conditions. First out and set the pace. Thoroughly enjoyed round on a great test. Well maintained and set up. But for a serious two hole blip, would have set a good score. Some of our guests were a tad apprehensive when they first saw closed and run down hotel, but after the round were delighted with the course, with a few suggesting a return. Pity the facilities off course don't match up.

Old clubhouse is being upgraded. Course was in good condition in spite of the poor winter this year. Well worth a visit.
