This 9-hole course is located on the southwest side of Indianapolis, inside the 465 loop and south of Kentucky Avenue. The course gets its name from being a scenic buffer between the adjacent residential area and a landfill. The clubhouse includes a banquet/conference room, which is often used when the course hosts group and corporate outings, and other events.

The standard rates for nine holes are $15 walking and $23 with a cart, while the 18-hole rates are $25 walking and $36 with a cart. Memberships are available, while Decatur residents, police, fire, and military person enjoy a discount. Junior and senior rates are also available.
