Marketing hype aside, Blueberry Pines has become one of the most popular and well-regarded courses in northern Minnesota. A family of mute trumpeter swans, towering trees, rolling hills, and a spring-fed stream are all present on this Joel Goldstrand design. One golf course reviewer said that Blueberry Pines doesn't really have a signature hole because several holes there could serve that purpose - particularly any of the par-3s.

The course is located just south of Park Rapids on U.S. Highway 71 near Menahga. The standard walking rates are $45 on Sundays through Fridays, then $50 on Saturdays (carts are $15). Junior, senior, 9-hole, and twilight rates are available, as are memberships.
