This venerable course dates to 1929, with a complete rebuild (1986-88) by architects Don Herfort and Kevin Norby. In 2006, Norby returned to oversee technical modifications to holes 3 and 11. The course is not punishingly long, but neither is it a cakewalk; water keeps golfers on their toes on seven holes, while some golfers refer to the climb from #1 green to #2 tee as "Cardiac Hill."

The roomy clubhouse's octagonal glass walls pleasantly echo those of Como Park's nearby Marjorie McNeely Conservatory, just south and west of the course.

This is a nice muni course with some neat elevation changes & pretty quick greens. Don't let the length fool you cause if you're not straight, good luck getting getting out of the rough.
