Architect William H. Tucker designed this course, which opened in 1962 over a former ranch, hence the course name. The Sespe and San Cayetano Mountain ranges provide an attractive backdrop, while five lakes are in play on nine different holes. Of note is the signature 17th hole, a long par-4 with a 110-foot drop from the tee-box and an excellent view of the Heritage Valley.

The standard walking rates are $29 weekdays and $36 on weekends (carts are $15). Junior, senior, and sliding twilight rates are also offered, as are memberships.
