This series of "player's cavity" irons and wedges was named in honor of Wilson club designer Robert Mendralla.

Weight is distributed high on short irons and wedges for optimum shot trajectory. Progressive offset and a thin top-line are designed for intermediate-to-better golfers. The hosel used Wilson's .450-inch diameter Fat Shafts to reduce torque on the downswing.
