Re-played in the afternoon. Started out with a working man's par but quickly disintegrated thru front nine. Every tee shot was faded hard left and 30 yards shorter than first time thru. Bunker shot on 6 was bladed over green and into the fescue. Hacked out and saved triple. It looked rather bleak.
Tim is a lefty as well. He showed me how my hips were opening up too soon leaving my club face open and that was all it took. I didn't realize how much my swing had adapted to this to protect my gut from February's surgery. I asked him why it took so long to say anything. His reply was that I seemed to make it work till now. An important side note is I can get away with this garbage on a shorter course but not at this length for very long. The tee shot on 10 was blistered with a nice draw. As we rolled thru the back, my confidence grew. Hit eight greens and shot lights out.
