2nd round of 2019. Didn't bother entering the first. It was a back nine only, 39. Wasn't going to enter anything on SG this year, but not yet set up to enter scores and specs on another app, so buckled and entered here.
45 degrees. Still quite wet. Played white tees on most holes, since blues are on the black teeing areas, much more often than not. However, when the whites were too far up, I either just stuck a tee in the ground somewhere on the blue teeing ground, or went to the actual blue tee markers if they were not all the way back. Hitting into greens was a bit better than usual, even though the ball felt like it was going nowhere.
Had at least 4 or 5 less-than-great shots. I felt like I had my B game, but the score says otherwise. That's just due to playing the whites. I hit a bunch of greens, but putting was only marginal. Greens are not great right now.
Driver was missing something for most of the round, but I started to find a groove later in the round, when I hit some decent drives. Even found my draw on the last few holes.
Elbow still a problem, but I'm working around it, for now. Most pain comes from trying to pick up my ball from the green with the back edge of my putter, something that is usually so simple. Played nine yesterday, 18 today, and may try another 18 tomorrow. Better go ice now.
