Course was soft but not soggy. No plugged balls but not much bounce/roll either. Greens were surprisingly smooth and actually a decent speed.
Once again I hit some good shots and had some real meatballs. The course played too long for my present game.
One story from the round. I was walking and pushing a twosome in a cart a bit. They stopped on the 15th tee (par 3 playing about 140 with a back hole location). They asked if I wanted to play through. YES! I teed my ball, took a lazy practice swing and then set-up. Best swing and strike of the day. The ball drew a little and landed 10 feet short of the hole. It released a bit and ended up 3 feet below the hole. The twosome was impressed. I said thanks and took off (missed the damn putt).
