80 degrees, partly cloudy and maybe a 5-10 mph breeze. About club or less.
Course was wet and clearly they had been hit by thunderstorms that had missed Ann Arbor. Played very long with almost no roll. Greens were smooth but a touch slow.
I struggled off the tee. On #6 I hit a nice fairway wood up over some trees after missing another fairway. We never located the ball and we suspect the 2-some in front of us picked it up or played it. We were below the hill so they would not have seen us. Since they were playing slow, I may have it my shot near where they were and I can imagine, "Oh look, a ball." At any rate, I took a 7x for the hole. #12 I hit the cart path and ended up well past the green, under a tree, on a root. Sigh.
