70 degrees, overcast with a strengthening wind. Started at around 10 mph or one club. By the latter half of the back nine it was 20 mph and at least 2 clubs.
Course was soft from the recent rain but not too bad. Green were moderate and a couple had been verticut. The back nine had been lightly top dressed with no aeration.
I started slowly but found my game around the 6th hole. Made only one bogey from that point on. Couldn't make any of a handful of very good birdie chances. Still, around the greens I was spot on after I got used to the green speeds.
Very Nice Brian. And didn't this just back up a 74 at Hudson Mills? See, you still have it in you. And I still aspire to have your game. I'm working on it. Been working on it since I started keeping tabs on you at Oob, 10 or so years ago. You had, have and always will have my golf respect. I don't just throw that around to anyone. It has to be earned. And you did so early on. Congrats. Keep up the good work.
