50's, cloudy, slight breeze.
Course was either a bit soggy or firm (like under a thin layer of thawed ground, it was frozen). Greens are now very furry and bumpy. The good news was they are soft enough to hold a shot.
I anticipated a crowd since everyone is off work and the temps were in the 50's. I got to the course at 10am and saw several players on the Woodlands so I went to the Lakes. Clear sailing until the 12th (my 3rd). A six-some was hooting and hollering near the green. I picked up my ball near the 150 stake. I was laying 2 and scored it as 5. Clear sailing again until #1 (my 10th). A five-some was preparing to tee off. One gentleman saw me and asked if I was planning to play that nine. Yes. Then go on ahead. THANKS! I ended up trailing a very slow twosome but at least they were faster than a five-some.
I generally hit the ball decently. A few squirrelly shots lead to bogey where I should have made par or better. A coupe putts were headed into the hole but the very slow surfaces held them 1-2 inches short. grumble, grumble.
