40 degrees and sunny. Maybe a 1 club wind at times but not windy.
Played Lakes, then Woodlands. I did not play 11-13 on the Lakes. Used "Net Par" as the USGA requires but realistically, I would probably have been a stroke or two higher.
When I arrived there was a foursome on the first tee of the Woodlands, waiting on a foursome in the fairway. Lakes looked open so off I went. Then discovered a foursome on the tee of #2 on the Lakes, with a foursome on #3. After playing #1 on the Lakes I walked around a hazard separating #2 and #5 tees and played on. Good decision judging by where I saw the groups I passed later.
I did not drive the ball well. Iron play was decent but I put myself in bad places with the driver so iron play was less important.
The course was pretty rough. Greens very slow. Fairways and rough soaking wet. Still, it was golf in early March so I am not complaining.
Sunday is supposed to be 60 degrees and sunny. I am staying home.
