Hot. Played with Bernie and Mark. First time out with them since the injury. They played whites. I played blues. Driver was not all there on the front, though I kept it mostly in the fairway. I was a tick off in my syncing. Actually, my whole game was a bit off on the front. Putting especially. 3, 3-putts. Did not adjust well to the greens which were cut and rolled overnight, after putting very well in practice yesterday. Maybe I was trying too hard playing with them again. I was able to figure a few issues out by the back and started hitting my drives to the same distance they were hitting theirs from the whites.
Birdie on 10 was after a very good drive, then a perfect 9-iron to 3 feet. Hit only one poor chip, on 18th. Came up a little short of green with PW approach. Front pin. Touchy short-sided chip. Tensed up and left it just on the green with 8 feet left to the hole. 2-putt bogey.
Sloppy front, mostly solid back, played better than score indicated overall.
