Cool start. 64* at tee off. First time in long pants since March. Played with Bernie. Tae Li (Korean), a member, joined us. He's got game. I pressed to find my A game, but never did. Bernie struggled.
My driver was not as consistent as it's been lately and I had some trouble finding the right speed on the greens. They seemed much faster than yesterday. Blew a few by. Nothing was perfect today, but hung in there and didn't make a fool of myself. Tae said he wants to play with me more, and also complimented my game a number of times. So I must not have played as poorly as I felt like I did. At least I didn't hit any real bad shots. His game is similar to mine.
Blue tees played about 6700 today. 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 were all on the Black teeing grounds. Many others were at the very back of the teeing area. Shortest of the four par 3s today was 168. I hit 4i off the tee on 6th (185y), a hybrid on the uphill 8th (playing about 200), 6i on 15th (168y, a bargain!) and a 4i again on 17th (190). Gimme a break.
Shoulder only hurt on my better drives. Hmmm. That's a problem. Iced twice, so far. TENS unit later.
