40 degrees, overcast, windy (10+ mph). It felt cold.
Course was very soggy. Not sure why they allowed carts. With the cold temperatures, wind and no roll, the course played long. Because it was so wet, we played "preferred lies" in the fairway.
Greens were slow and bumpy.
I generally hit the ball well with the usual handful of skanky shots.
It was amazing how busy the course was. We were one of the early groups (9:32) as a threesome. We got stuck behind a very slow foursome. They showed no indication they were going to let us through so we rolled past them and skipped #5. Good move. We payed 3 extra holes on the back nine (one of the par 4's we designated as "#5", which I bogeyed). Even with all the extra play, the foursome was on #14 when we finished.
A year ago I would have been walking the course solo and there would have been maybe 7-8 players total. This year they were booked solid from 9am to close.
