Cranham is an excellent course,if you want a course in good condition all year round, no temporary greens or tees, no stuffy clubhouse members, an easy course for beginners with a few challenging holes for the better players this is the course for you. Value for money wise it is excellent and I can't recommend it more especially if you are new to the game or more importantly if you are an experienced player who wants to introduce a new comer to the game this is the ideal course to play to build confidence. Despite playing all over Essex I always return to Cranham on a regular basis because its openness allows you to try new shots with confidence that the ball will run true and never be in too much trouble
